Laila Odom, born in Orange New Jersey has studied Theater, Dance, Gymnastics, and Martial Arts, since the age of 5. Laila received a Theater Arts and Modern Dance (BFA) at Rutgers University: Mason Gross School of the Arts before moving from New York to Los Angeles to further pursue her acting career. While studying for her BFA, Laila had the opportunity to model in New York, Germany, and South Africa.

Currently, Laila can be seen on Cinemax’s hit show “Zane’s Sex Chronicles” based on the book by New York Best Sellers author,  Zane and produced by Suzanne DePasse.  Laila plays one of  five best friends “Ana-Marie”. Ana Marie is the sexually unabashed comedian with a troubled past that threatens her current relationship with her live-in boyfriend, Taariq.  Season one shed light on Ana Marie’s infidelity and ended with the cliffhanger season finale. Laila is also a regular on the US version of the smash Japanese game show “Hole in the Wall” on Fox as the “Sexy Lifeguard”. Unbeknownst to most, Laila is an experienced lifeguard, and not since “Baywatch” have we seen a woman of color in the red “Lifeguard” swimsuit!

In addition to television, Laila is a lead in the hilarious faith based film “Outrighteous”. In stores now “Outrighteous”, is a fun story of two friends vying for the attention and love of the same man through righteous acts!
